Established for over 20 years and a subsidiary of the Blue Planet Group, Recycle Force offers a complete Waste Management solution, underpinned by the principles of the Circular Economy.

From our main site in Corby, we offer the collection of a wide range of waste materials and a full sorting facility from which we separate out Recyclable Materials for onward sale. With our own fleet of Artics, we also provide stand trailers, baled recycling collections to many household names, which we trade along with our sorted wastes. Recycle Force are PERN accredited with the EA for plastics export.?

Due to increasing volumes and activity, we are now looking to recruit a Trader to work with our existing team placing material with processing facilities in the UK and abroad achieving maximum value and reliable offtake.

The Role

As part of our established company, you will be responsible for trading materials, involved mainly in the onward sale to buyers in the UK, Europe and beyond as well as sourcing and procuring recyclable. Working alongside our existing Trading team, your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

• Sole responsibility for the placement of material sourced by our buying team.
• Responsible for trading waste materials which includes sourcing waste materials and establishing a customer.
• Responsible for delivering monthly traded margin as stated in the company budget.?
• Grading and assessing Recyclable materials.
• Onboarding of new suppliers/customers and account management of existing suppliers/customers.
• Ensuring all purchases are correctly priced and to the right specification.?
• Effectively negotiate the efficient procurement and sale of commodities and services.
• Assist with resolving any customer or supplier issues?
• Administrative duties?
• Keep up to date and accurate records on trading activities using in-house company systems.
• Expedite procurement / open orders
• Support and adhere to company accreditations, policies and standards??

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years experience in waste export protocols and procedures?
• 2+ years experience in commercial contract negotiations?
• 2+ years industry experience of grading and assessing waste material?
• 2+ experience of commercial contract negotiations?
• Must have UK driving license?
