In a new op-ed in The Hill, Joe Tomain and I Government discuss how government has been essential for the nation’s financial stability and prosperity since Alexander Hamilton was the first Secretary of the Treasury. Drawing on our new book, the op-ed notes that historical similarities between Hamilton's efforts in the new nation and President Biden's infrastructure funding, establishing that what is old is new when it comes to government.
