Here’s how most businesses promote their online ordering process:
1. Call the hotline or send a message via Messaging Apps to place your order.
2. Once your order is confirmed, you may now book a delivery service via same-day delivery apps. (Don’t forget to put the store’s pickup location as pickup point and put the merchant’s contact details)
3. Wait for your order. (You should also on standby for any questions from the rider in case they can’t find the store’s pickup location).
This is what we call “Frankensteinization” of the online ordering process. Just reading that 3 step process of transferring from one mobile app to another is painful enough more so if you go through with it.
Online commerce in this New Normal Business Environment doesn’t have to be that complicated. We know that there must be a way to put the online ordering, online payment, and delivery request on one channel.

Ohhh.. I forgot to mention all of this requires NO COMMISSION FEE AND NO ACTIVATION FEE. We just add 10 pesos flat fee to all successful transactions. It can be shouldered by customers, labeled as convenience fee.
