A New Name, A Deeper Purpose: Nymble Is Now Posha
Starting?today, Nymble is now Posha. With this, we’ve embraced not just a new name, but a deeper purpose.
For some of you, this may be a surprise; for others who’ve followed our journey, perhaps it feels like a natural step. Either way, the question remains: Why Posha?
Over the years, after speaking to thousands of customers, one question has always lingered: Why do families still choose to cook at home, even when eating out or ordering in is so much easier?
If saving time were all that mattered, cooking at home would be a thing of the past. We’d simply Dash all our meals.
Is it to eat healthier??That’s part of it. The food-industrial complex has engineered sugary, processed foods to hook us, and we know now how harmful they are for us and our loved ones. More than 40%?of Americans are considered obese. Roughly a third?of those are now part of the industrial-diabetes complex.?Our choice to eat at home seems to be about reclaiming health for ourselves and the people we care about most.
Is it to save money??Choosing to cook at home saves a family of four roughly $30?per meal. For 10 meals a week, that’s around $300 in savings. Over time, these savings add up in ways that matter for our loved ones’ futures. But that’s not all. Every year, we spend $13,000?per person on healthcare—fueling the largest industry in the United States—all while living shorter lives.

Or is it the joy of reclaiming our food??The nostalgia of grandma’s pasta recipe, the warmth of a perfectly cooked lentil soup (dal), or wanting to treat your family to a dish not available at a local restaurant — like the Khow Suey I’m craving right now which no restaurant around me is able to deliver.
Maybe it is all of it and more.
At its heart, it’s love that draws us back to the kitchen. Home-cooked meals are how we say ‘I care’ - nurturing the people who mean the world to us without needing words.
We cook at home because we care for our family.?The reason our parents used to cook at home was because they cared about us - about our health and well-being, about saving up to send us to the best schools, about treating us to our favorite treats.
Growing up in India, I witnessed how food and love intertwined at every meal. Dinners were always just had with the entire family together. I couldn’t think of a better word than the Hindi word ???? (Poshan), which beautifully encapsulates the nurture, nourishment, and care I associate with the love behind every home-cooked meal.?And that’s why we’re now?Posha.
With personal ambitions, work commitments, and leisure alike, caring can get hard, and with Posha we’re trying to make sure absolutely nothing gets in the way of you expressing love to your loved ones through food. They are too important.
There’s no exact date when Posha began, but?today, it feels like we’ve grown into who we were always meant to be. Like a teenager finding their purpose, we’ve come into our own. Our mission is clear: to help you care - through food, through love, through Posha.
