New models for the vulnerability analysis of liner shipping corridors

Our most recent work on the vulnerability analysis of liner shipping networks is included in the new book, entitled Advances in Shipping Data Analysis and Modelling, edited by our colleague Cesar Ducruet. In our chapter, we present a set of algorithms that combine attacker-defender analysis and our liner shipping assignment models to identify vulnerabilities in the global liner shipping network, and inform decisions in network design, port choice and disaster recovery plans.
