Midwest Manufacturers Association (MMA) is excited to announce the creation of the?Red River Manufacturers & Engineers Association (RRMEA)?that will be based in the Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo area. An introductory RRMEA meeting will be held on November 14, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Assembly Systems in West Fargo. It will be a meet and greet with Rachel Lolmasteymaugh, MMA Executive Director, area enthusiasts, and members of the?Tri-State Manufacturers Association. Rick Lemke, Business Development at?Assembly Systems, will be speaking at the meeting.
?The RRMEA Board of Directors is currently forming, and?membership application?has begun. RRMEA offers several categories of membership including manufacturers, distributors/suppliers, professional services, government, and K-12 education.
?“We are beyond excited to collaborate with Fargo Moorhead West Fargo manufacturers, engineers and supporters to create this new association,” said Lolmasteymaugh. “The manufacturing community will?benefit?from a collective voice and collaborative efforts in workforce initiatives, healthcare plans, communication, and more.”
?“The timing of this could be really good,” said Anthony Molzahn, CEO,?Devii.io, Fargo, in a LinkedIn post. “It seems this is the kind of support our state needs as it grows to accommodate large manufacturing companies that come here from around the world.”?
?MMA?serves as a catalyst for the creation of new manufacturing-focused trade organizations and the collaboration of existing organizations throughout the Upper Midwest: rural Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. By joining forces under one central office, the manufacturing industry in the Midwest region has a way to express its collective voices… to government, to suppliers of common goods and services, and to each other.
