Why the announcement?

Will my new logo postion me better; 100%!
Already I have had people sign up to my newsletter on here on the strength of this new logo, which naturally I am thrilled about.
What's more it has caused a few people to reach out to me personally to congratulate me on such a wonderful logo which truly represents my vibe and personality, which is down to the graphic designer Chris Thew who created it from the guidance of my client Tracy Heatley MBA, CMktr
This 'announcement,' though isn't really that interesting is it?
And you would be right!
Let me tie this into the media.
You would be amazed by how many journalists receive this kind of 'announcement,' in their inboxes daily, yes really, from people even fellow PR's who think it is newsworthy. The reality is that it is not unless it is tied to a news story which most of the time it is not!
What would make it newsworthy, would be taking a current trend or topical issue and connected the two together.
For example: with my client Renford Marsden FLPI , ( who has sponsored at event to help Veterans get employment opportunities in partnership with RBLI (Royal British Legion Industries) in July ( * See link at the bottom for more details in case you might know any Veterans who might be interested) .
Hiring a Veteran-owned Company to design my logo
If it was a story about me hiring someone who was a Veteran referred to by the RBLI (Royal British Legion Industries) to design the logo, giving them an opportunity to earn an income through a Veteran-owned company then that might be a story
I could have them share how their work is meaningful, and really gives them reason to get up in the morning when they often can feel neglected and overlooked, that would be interesting; as many Veterans are struggling to find gainful employment
And sadly, with the cost of living crisis, people might favour bigger companies who can charge less, over the smaller micro businesses like those recommended by the RBLI for whom every sale matters, which would give the story 'legs.'
(p.s I didn't know about the RBLI until I started to work with Renford Marsden FLPI recently, so going forward I am going to look into ways I can support them through my business and recommendations watch this space!
My Personal Numerological year is FOUR
Alternatively, I could tie it into a personal story, about this year, being a numerological 4 Personal year(**) for me which is all about building stronger foundations and structures, and being dyslexic this is my weakest leak!
So even after over 20 years running a business, I find ideas and creativity the easiests but structures and processes and visual aids like a logo much harder.
The story could be how reading Jo Soley 's book Bizology has really helped me to take these areas more seriously, hence why I invested in a logo! That would be more interesting, whilst bringing in my dyslexic challenges, which are still even though it's more talked about massively misunderstood!
