New LinkedIn Accessibility Features Have Arrived ??
What's New in Social From the Past Week
LinkedIn users may have received the below email from LinkedIn last week highlighting the new features.
TikTok:?
TikTok introduces "Balance", which is a virtual wallet within TikTok to manage your coins, rewards and transactions.
Meta:
According to the Wall Street Journal, Meta has plans to introduce many different AI chat bot personalities including a sassy robot for the younger generation and even celebrities.
Meta says that users will be able to create their own stickers with text prompts.
Threads:
Threads is currently testing a feature that would allow you to edit your post within the first 5 minutes of it being posted.
In a report from CNBC, Threads is projected to have fewer monthly active users than Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
X:
X has made the decision to shut down Circles as of October 31st. You will no longer be able to create a new post that is limited to only your Circle.
One of the new features that will be coming to Communities includes private communities. This would replace Circles, which will be gone starting October 31.
X is currently working on a feature that will allow you to choose who can respond to your posts. It would have 3 options including people you follow, verified accounts and only people who mention you.

Snap has recently partnered with Microsoft Advertising to create sponsored links withing My AI.
Google Podcasts will be no more in 2024 due to the roll out of podcasts in YouTube Music.
