NEW LINEAR FLEX FIXTURE PRODUCT ORDER NAMING CONVENTION

GLLS is happy to be introducing a new Linear Flex fixture Product Order Naming convention! We’ve improved our naming convention to simplify our product codes and make way for a product code that is easier to read and easier to understand.

What’s Different?

Our full part number naming document can be found on our?Documentation Page. Let’s take a quick look at these improvements:

• We’ve reduced the number of characters in our naming convention.
• We are introducing a alphanumeric format
• Our new code follows a filtering system that allows more information to be present in the code without adding more characters

Let’s break it down:

• V indicates that it is part of the Vivid Series
• 2 indicates that it is housed in PVC material
• C indicates that it is the S160 Profile
• 1 Indicates that is a side bending fixture
• W indicates that the jacket and lens color are white and diffused
• 1 indicates static color function
• E indicates the color red
• 1 indicates the Epistar SMD LED Chip

New Connector naming Convention

We are also introducing a new naming convention for our connectors to go along with our fixtures. This will enable a seamless process when ordering. See image below.

Together, our new product ordering code looks like this:

Using the example we used previously with our fixture, let’s now add connectors on each side and break it down.
