New Life, New Love

Lately I’ve been grieving and feeling heavy, at times. Why? I’m letting go of people and activities from the past which now feel a bit like stale bread. I still enjoy bread, but it’s a bit crusty and moldy.
The grief will come out of nowhere and then when I journal, talk to a trusted friend and/or spend time in renewing Mother Nature, life falls back into place.
Part of the creative journey includes unlearning and unpacking. Questioning status quo assumptions. Sitting in the chaos and uncertainty for a minute or two or three.
Have you ever felt as if you’re finding your way through a maze of emotions, people and options and yet seeing the spark of the possibilities off in the distant future?
Putting on the brake and then the gas. Over and over again, without getting whiplash.
We have to be comfortable with being uncertain and uncomfortable for a while.
And if we process, learn and get support from others, we breakthrough. If not, we stay wandering and lost in the desert. Or in my case, in the desserts. :)
The trick is to not spend sooooo much time worrying about and sitting in the anxiety mired in quicksand.
Don’t stay stuck in the pool of stagnant water. Move forward and create a flow.
Taking small baby steps or massive action moves us forward and we learn from it.
Learn from your mis steps. Say, “Next.” “What’s the next right and loving thing I can do?”
Do something that sparks your joy every day and keep going.
Please friend, don’t give up. We need you.
The light of love will guide your way.
New life awaits us.
With love,
Christine
