New Investigator Mentorship Program Accepting Applications

The Buckingham Mentorship Program is a 10-week mentoring program. The goal is to train and develop investigators to recruit to our Buckingham Investigations team.

REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates will have qualities that align with Buckingham Core Values:

  • Trust - We display our professionalism in everything we do; we follow through on our work; and we are trusted to utilize our integrity and honesty to protect the confidentiality of our clients. We exist to protect businesses and their people by employing our many abilities and dedication to the tasks at hand.
  • Quality - We take seriously our commitment to be reliable, dependable, accountable and exceed our client's expectations by delivering quality results on time and on budget. We regularly communicate updates on our process to our clients.
  • Humanity - We strive to exhibit compassion and sympathy for our team. We cultivate joy whenever we can and find ways to support those who can use a lift.
  • Respect - We respect everyone we encounter no matter what their circumstances. Our dedication to an impartial, ethical, professional process that is thorough and complete is unparalleled. We always go the extra mile — or as many miles as it takes — to complete a task.
  • Expertise - We continually pursue the betterment of our people, including ourselves and our clients. We share our many skills in continually building a diverse, inclusive team that is open-minded, supportive and committed to lifelong learning. And we ensure that everyone has a voice and an opportunity to advance their opinion.

Accepted applicants will receive individualized mentoring from senior investigators while attending small-group training once a week. The program will require a commitment to reading, reviewing videos, and reviewing reports and statements. You will be exposed to the work product of the best investigators in the industry. With this, you will be expected to sign a commitment and confidentiality document.

Buckingham Inc. values diversity in our workplace and encourages applications from all qualified Employment Equity candidates. Previous investigation experience is not required. All applicants must be at least 19 years of age to apply. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

COMMITMENT

The initial program is voluntary. Upon completion of the course, if both parties agree, Buckingham Inc. will submit for your Investigation License, and you will be compensated once you are assigned to an actual Buckingham Investigations file. At this time, you will be assigned as a second on a file and will work alongside our team of Senior Investigators.

However, once you have completed the program, should you decide that being an investigator is no longer of interest, you are welcome to depart with no hard feelings or obligation to Buckingham Inc.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Interested applicants may apply by emailing their resume and cover letter to [email protected] by Monday, October 31, 2022. Include a short summary explaining why you are interested in participating in this mentorship program.

Accepted applicants will be notified by Thursday, November 3, 2022.
