Now in its 21st year, EEMS24 on 6th February at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, is the place to see, listen and learn about new technologies and innovations in motorsport as it heads towards a net zero future.
In association with Fortescue WAE, EEMS24 is a visionary Discussion Forum where delegates will learn from, and meet, world-class motorsport business and technology leaders.? It will focus on technology, entertainment, and investment to secure business growth on motorsport’s journey to Net Zero over the next decade and beyond.

Speakers and discussions leaders include:
- Martin Brundle from Sky Sports F1 will share his views on the future of broadcasting in F1 and the likely impact on the industry and sport.
- Otmar Szafnauer will share his insight of the entertainment and future technologies of F1 as it continues its exciting growth in popularity and meets the challenges of Net Zero.
- Doug Campling from Fortescue WAE will focus on hydrogen fuel cell combustion and its importance in the future of motorsport.
- Zoe Chilton – formerly Red Bull Racing and Technology, will explain the future, invaluable importance to the whole supply chain of partnerships and sponsorships in the rapidly changing, technology world of motorsport, and how it will work and what will drive it.
- Rodi Basso, arriving directly from the first E1 World Championship race in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will share the fascinating story of his unique electric raceboat and World Championship and identify the exciting commercial opportunities ahead.
- Koen Matthys - Head of Research and Development McLaren Formula 1 Team, will share his own experience of developing an R&D function within the world of F1.
- Iain Wight of InoBat will outline some of the commercial opportunities that Tomorrow’s World of Motorsport will bring, with particular emphasis on the assimilation of battery electric vehicles in competition.
- John Doonan of IMSA in the US will join the event with news fresh from IMSA’s Rolex 24 at Daytona. He will share his thoughts on the likely next ten years of progress in environmentally sustainable competition and its valuable, growing contribution to mainstream automotive.
- Dr Felix Leach from Oxford University will speak about the future role motorsport can play in the journey to net zero and provide a realistic overview of sustainability plans and how they will affect our industry.
- Luke Goldsmith from SUSTAIN will discuss the future of fuels in motorsport over the next decade or more.
Attendees will also have chance to meet and network with new partners, suppliers and collaborators.

It’s incredible to see how EEMS has evolved over the years since a few people, including myself, were talking about how motorsport needed to think more about the environment and become more efficient before it was forced too. Congrats to the MIA for keeping the momentum going to where it is today. I look forward to attending.
