New Initiative: MDIC Commercial Payer Council

In a bid to foster collaboration and transparency across diverse stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem, the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC) has launched a new initiative aiming to streamline evidentiary requirements for coverage, expedite patient access, and refine pathways for coverage, coding, and payment. The Commercial Payer Council held its first two quarterly meetings this year and have released a Key Insights summary to serve as a roadmap for professionals working within device and digital health technology companies—offering strategic guidance and pathways for effectively engaging with commercial payers.
