Assessment and management of frailty in individuals living with dementia: expert recommendations for clinical practice. Frailty complicates the care of individuals with dementia, increasing their vulnerability to adverse outcomes. This Personal View presents expert recommendations for managing frailty in individuals with dementia, aimed at health-care providers, particularly those in primary care. Association between sarcopenic obesity and risk of frailty in older adults: a systematic review and meta-analysis. Age-related changes in body composition such as muscle loss can lead to sarcopenia, which is closely associated with frailty. However, the effect of body fat accumulation on frailty in old age remains unclear. In particular, the association between the combination of these two conditions, known as sarcopenic obesity, and frailty in older adults is unclear. Age Ageing. 2025 Jan 6;54(1):afae286. doi: 10.1093/ageing/afae286
