New Hopes in Ekati Mine

The Ekati Diamond mine is located in the Northwest territories of Canada and owned by Dominion Diamond Corporation. Canadian diamonds are very valuable compared to diamonds mined in other regions because of ethically sourced mining as well the pristine quality of these diamonds. Over a span of a couple of years, Canadian diamond discovery has lead to 6 active diamond mines unearthing precious diamonds daily. The Ekati mine being one of them, just recently discovered a huge kimberlite pipe in the undeveloped region of the mine. This is great news, as Canadian diamond prices per carat can soar even higher and holder an even bigger value. Hopefully, Dominion pushes plans to start digging soon, as they assume the kimberlite pipe may consist of 16 million carats. Imagine all the possibilities of Canadian diamonds listed on VDB!
