New homes in Deptford: 1,100 new flats for the south-east London area tipped as the new Dalston
We are getting close to launching Phase 1 'The Timberyard' in Deptford. Two of the biggest commercial property brains in the World, British Land and Hutchinson Whampoa have purchased a sizeable amount of land in Deptford (actually the site next door) and Canada Water . If this doesn't give you satisfaction that the area is about to undergo a huge regeneration then I don't know what will...
The New York Times recently tipped Deptford as the best place to visit for a “real taste” of London. And now The Wharves Deptford project, by developer Lend Lease, is likely to bring dramatic change to the landscape when it is finished in 2022.
The development will be the second major project in the area. Last year, London Mayor Boris Johnson approved Hong Kong-based developer Hutchison Whampoa’s plans to build 3,500 new homes at Convoys Wharf, a neighbouring dockyards site.
With completion in 2018 and prices anticipated to be from £400,000 this is an exciting time to be getting into this Zone 2 Regeneration
