As the Class of 2023 enters the workforce, employers are seeing a lack of the skills necessary to navigate the office. The solution: instruction on how to send an email, the right way to buttonhole the boss and what not to wear.

Help is on the way.

Monday is becoming the new flashpoint in the tug-of-war over the return to office. Many firms have been relaxed about making employees come in person on Mondays—only 24% require employees to show up in person. But that is starting to change as the tides shift and employers demand more.?

Goodbye ‘bare-minimum Mondays.’?

Growing numbers of 80-somethings are deciding that if days are finite, they are better spent on the job than in retirement. Harrison Ford, 80, is releasing his latest “Indiana Jones” movie, Jane Goodall, 89, is still protecting chimps, Smokey Robinson, 83, is still touring, and 80-year-old Joe Biden is still governing (and seeking re-election.)

Why not keep going, too?

The world has been transforming at an amazing rate. It's an exciting time! I believe teaching foundation skills are good, plus we learn from different generations too. In the 80's we got the dress for success book. ?? Unfortunately being a female, I was told I needed to wear a suit with a skirt not a pantsuit. Each generation has their stuff. We need to reflect, listen, and learn together. We all are the sum total of our life's experiences.
