New General Manager

SADB are pleased to announce that the transition from our outgoing to incoming General Manager was completed last week. This is a bittersweet moment for our company as we bid farewell to our GM of the past 16 years, Peter Clemente and welcome into the role, Mike Fioravanti.?

Peter has been pivotal in taking this local South Australian family owned and operated business from it’s early days in Payneham, focused on niche drilling projects, to a civil construction company based in Newton that specialises in Civil Works, HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling), Project Management, Civil and Pipeline Design & Construction and NDE (Non-Destructive Excavation).?

Company Director, Michael De Vizio says, “SADB’s growth from a 20-employee operation to 100-employees can be directly related to Peter’s contribution and vision.?Peter has been pivotal to the growth and success of SADB.?Peter oversaw the expansion of our company, the creation of a Board and the current company structure.?On behalf of all SADB stakeholders I would like to personally thank Peter, his cultural influence, loyalty, hard work and vision to take SADB to where it is today. We now welcome Mike Fioravanti who comes with a wealth of experience to lead our business on our next phase of growth. As an international business performance consultant, Mike spent the last 10 years working with top tier companies across Australia, China, Canada, and most recently Africa. This exposed him to the diverse challenges of conducting business in different industries, cultures and economic environments.?

Mike sees his initial charter at SADB to build on the great foundation established by Peter, with a focus on the strategic development of robust policies, procedures, and practices in the areas of safety management, project delivery and operational efficiencies, people management, supportive business systems & technologies, and public profile.?
