The Government of India has amended the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic, or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985, to accommodate various additional fertiliser alternatives. This modification intends to give farmers with more options for meeting their individual crop demands.
Key & new additions to the Schedule include:
Furthermore, the amendment changes the ''specifications'' for Nano Nitrogen fertilisers, allowing for a wider variety of particle sizes. These modifications are likely to assist farmers by giving them additional alternatives for tailoring fertiliser applications to specific crops and soil conditions. This might potentially contribute to higher agricultural yields and quality.
As part of the Nano fertilizers category, Nano zinc and Nano copper are also included with their specifications.
This fertiliser list update gives farmers more tools to meet the specific demands of their crops. These amendments can maximise plant health, increase yields, and even improve the nutritional content of crops by adding choices high in sulphur, micronutrients, and combinations designed for certain deficiencies.
