Helios’ plan continues to incorporate a new leadership team with the departure of former Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Gerwin Schalk.

The company is thrilled to announce the appointment of Sam Debnath as its new Chief Technology Officer. Sam, a seasoned software development engineer from Amazon Global Robotics, is set to bring a fresh perspective and innovative leadership to Helios.

This appointment marks a new chapter for Helios as former Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Gerwin Schalk, has fully resigned from the organization and will no longer be involved in the leadership team, board of directors, technical guidance or in any voting capacity. Dr. Schalk will pursue his position as Laboratory Director for the Tianqiao & Chrissy Chen Institute Frontier Lab based in Shanghai, China.
