How did we get here?
The path of visual art is constantly developing. Cavemen began to translate their preferences and surroundings using any available tools such as minerals, rocks, and sticks. The resources for visual expression got better and more complex with time. People began using enhanced materials like chalk, oil paint, brushes, and palette knives to create desired effects.
Technologies were also simultaneously evolving. Some artists have recently begun using them while painting, as the demand for this appeared in the film and video game industries. Drawings are now not only a creation of paint and brushes, but also of a stylus and an interactive tablet, and instead of a canvas, we now have a computer or a tablet screen.
