A new era for Aerison

A new era for Aerison

It’s been an honour to take up my new role as CEO of Aerison. This decision was heavily influenced by Aerison’s successful 35-year history, its people, culture and values, its healthy order book and promising pipeline of opportunities.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve met with our employees, customers and suppliers across the Perth metro area and travelled around WA to visit our site-based teams. I’ve appreciated the warm welcome from everyone, and the opportunity to share my vision for Aerison as we embark on an exciting period of growth and transformation as a privately held company.

As we look to the future, it’s worth reflecting on Aerison’s successful history. Founded in WA in 1988 as a specialist in environmental services, Aerison has evolved into a multi-disciplined provider of complete EPC solutions and asset life cycle services to the Australian resources and industrial services sector.

Today, we are a trusted partner and contributor to this major industry, with over $60 million of work currently in hand and a reputation for safe, high quality, reliable and seamless project delivery. We’re proud of our track record and we’re driven to succeed with an indomitable spirit, unity, honesty and integrity.

New contracts for Aerison

I’m pleased to share that Aerison has recently been awarded several new contracts for mining and oil and gas projects in WA.

In October I visited our team at CSBP and was thrilled to see the pioneering spirit shining strong on site, where our team has developed an innovative construction methodology for a challenging scope to minimise operational impacts.

Last week I visited the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson where Aerison has been engaged by ABB and Chevron to manufacture a unique pair of switch rooms for the Janz IO project. We’ve also been awarded new contracts for the manufacturing of switch rooms for Technip Energies’ Yuri project.

Field services and fabrication

We continue to grow our field services capability with maintenance of dust collectors at Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s Gudai-Darri mine site, and the successful delivery of shutdowns and structural integrity scopes for customers such as FMG, BHP Billiton and other resources companies.

In addition, we’ve been re-engaged by Rio Tinto Iron Ore at Lily Bridge to complete remediation and maintenance scopes for their rail network, and by Alstom for the fabrication of unique battery boxes for the new trains being delivered as part of the Perth Metronet project.

I’m also quietly confident and encouraged by the significant pre-contract activity underway with several of our established and new clients including FMG, Mineral Resources, Covalent, Rio Tinto Iron Ore, BHP Billiton and Technip Energies.?

Our in-house fabrication facility in Forrestfield WA is gearing up for a high level of activity from Q4 2023 through to Q3 of 2024, as we deliver critical fabrication and modularisation for Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s 101M Dust Collection project followed by the 3DC dust collection project, and for the Technip Energies switch room project.

Career opportunities and growth

All of these activities have created a range of opportunities to join our team at a very exciting time and we’re actively recruiting for roles across the business. To accommodate this growth, we’re currently relocating to stunning new premises in the Durack Centre in East Perth.

With more contract wins on the near horizon, the future is once again bright for Aerison and we have every reason to be optimistic. In the coming weeks I look forward to sharing more updates as we launch our new head office and website, announce new contracts and welcome new team members.
