Where’s My Head At - Inspiration

Last post of the year - taking some time to focus on family and find some boredom before a big 2025.

I'm kicking off 2025 with a new format for the newsletter. The more I write or think about writing, the more I’m drawn to share my faith and how that has become the foundation of my life. My focus in my career has shifted, my family has become more all-consuming raising three girls and leading my family in biblical principles, and my fitness (which was once priority 1, 2, and 3) has taken a back seat - but I’m still drawn to training my body both physically, mentally and spiritually.

So the new format will surround those four things: Faith, family, fitness, and focus. But not from my perspective…

I’m bringing others into this, men of faith who have walked with God longer than I have. Men I admire, want to learn from, those I look to for guidance or inspiration. Many of them are readers of this newsletter.

I have a relatively short experience with my relationship with Jesus, and I felt each week when trying to write I was drawn to expand on my faith but struggled to find what to share. So rather try to come up with everything myself, I’m taking the position of learner and listener.

I put this message out there a week ago based on this idea and the feedback was incredible. I started to think about the network I've fallen into this year and realized I have some truly inspiring men of faith that I could tap into and learn from. Former professional athletes, Olympians, entrepreneurs, sales executives, founders, and some really great voices that I would love to learn more from. When I started to ask these people to join, everyone said YES! It was a quick reminder that God is always working, we just need to walk in what he has for us. So in 2025, I'm starting to feel like this is what he's got planned for me.

I’ll be discussing the habits that have built the faith of these men. How they came to know God and what part it plays in their daily lives, how they pray, how they see their career and focus with faith embedded, how they view fitness, family habits with faith and fitness. We’ll talk about contentment, drive, motivation, and surrender. I’ve had a few of these conversations already and they have been eye-opening and inspiring. Can’t wait to share with you.

I’d like to position this newsletter to help inspire others to learn from those further along in their walk than myself. Praying you will join along!
