New developments in the MEIA region bring Jotun closer to our customers

2023 brings a new world of opportunities, with Jotun accelerating growth by expanding into new markets within the Middle East region.?

Since the 1950s, we’ve been breaking ground in the paints and coatings industry, setting the standard for premium-quality solutions and dedicated research and development facilities as part of our vision to continue protecting properties and its occupants for years to come.

Our expansion into new markets is met with an uncompromising focus on innovation and investment in R&D, ultimately strengthening our renowned reputation and our offerings. Meeting market demands and helping the industry to remain sustainable and competitive is the goal when establishing new products.

From our recently launched headquarters in Dubai to our new factories in Qatar, Bangladesh and Pakistan, we grow closer to our goal of reaching our customers wherever they are in the world while developing advanced technologies that emulate beauty and purpose.

At Jotun, we’re committed to expanding our horizons so our solutions continue to inspire homes that comply with the latest safety and quality standards.

Into 2023 and beyond?

Jotun is leveraging our newly built headquarters (HQ) in Dubai Science Park as the base from where we’ll continue to work collaboratively with our customers and distributors.

Our HQ comprises two buildings, one dedicated to research and development, and another being the office building. Our R&D facility will enable us to develop innovative products that continue to provide durability while protecting and beautifying some of the most stunning structures in the region.

Inspired by Scandinavian architecture, the landscape is also a direct reflection of the surrounding desert terrain and features the extensive use of soft-scape materials to complement its overall design. Its robust design features three expansive floors, state-of-the-art laboratory facilities to suit end-user workflows, and gracious open-plan spaces to drive productivity and creativity among our 200 employees at the site. Further design highlights include the use of the region’s first large-scale Concrete Core Conditioning to cool down the building at night and save energy and costs, and the use of the desert sun to produce electricity and hot water via photovoltaic panels at roof level.

Exciting new developments like these help us to continue our growth in the MEIA region.
