Congratulations, Mayor Brandon Scott,

I remember a different Baltimore from the one you grew up in. You are the mayor of a great City & I am certain that those of us who remember the old Baltimore stand ready to assist you in any way we can to ensure that you succeed. My mother, Juanita Nicholson, served on the Planning Commission during the Schmoke administration. Please plan for a great term. Not because Baltimore is a City that reads, But Baltimore is a City that DOES.

What do you do when you have to attend a breakfast forum in Albany, N.Y, your Mom's swearing in at Baltimore City Hall and David's high school graduation from Hawthorne Valley School in Harlemville, NY all within 12 hours. Between Delta Airlines & Hertz & a considerable amount of luck, I made them all. As my Mom, the Planning Commissioner said, " Nothing happens without good planning".
