Hebrews 8:13 By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.

By Jesus coming into the world, God established a new covenant. This doesn't mean that the old one was a mistake. It just means that God made a new and better promise. A promise that we have a seat in heaven that we can't earn. A promise that our sins are forgiven, not through sacrifices we need to conduct, but because Jesus became the one and final sacrifice for that forgiveness. A promise that love and peace will always win over hate and tyranny. This is why we celebrate Christmas. Celebrate God's new covenant and have a blessed day!
