New Courses Announced at Nationwide Technical Training and Professional Development Academy
The Nationwide Technical Training and Professional Development Academy are excited to announce new courses to their already mounting portfolio.
Not only is the Training Academy equipped to run technical training such as panel, paint, MET and air-con, but they now offer full courses in first aid, fire marshalling, CPC and Managing Safety for Managers and Supervisors.
The introduction of this wider range of courses has been welcomed enthusiastically by the Training Team and their candidates, and is in keeping with one of Nationwide’s core values; to always look for continuous improvements.
These professional development courses can be delivered both at the Training Academy, where they boast a classroom with a full computer suite, fully functioning workshop, paint booth and five welding bays, or remotely at a location convenient for the trainees.
Zoe Preston, Training Centre Manager, said: “We’ve been working on introducing these courses for some time now and we’re delighted to be able to finally share this with the Nationwide Team and our external candidates. We’ve received fantastic feedback so far for these modules and continue to work towards offering a complete training solution for the accident repair industry.”
As the weather continues to improve, many industry professionals are now also looking to develop their skill-set in air-conditioning. The Training Academy offers the Level 3 Award in Automotive Refrigerant Handling (EC842-2006), which is a one-day course comprised of both theory and practical assessments. It covers safety, preparation, recovery and handling a refrigerant cylinder.
