Have you tried adding a Microsoft Team to a SharePoint online site recently?
There is a new little bit of magic that happens - look what has started appearing!
So if you have a SharePoint online site and you click the "Add Microsoft Teams to collaborate" button at the bottom of the menu here:
It creates a Team as before, and you can see the new Team includes the same site icon as our SharePoint site, pretty nice.
BUT....
WAIT,..
WHAT is that on the tabs on the right??
OOOH! we can see and use our SharePoint site right there inside Teams!
AND, there is one last nice bit added into the SharePoint Site itself:
A "Teams" menu link is added to the quick launch menu on the left
Great idea, and a nice way to start linking the pieces of the jigsaw together.
(It also seems to be clever enough to decide it is worth doing if you have some content in that site, it doesn't bother with a clean empty SP site!)
What do you think?
I'm thinking this could really be a game changer for small companies!
Go try it out!

3 年I have been waiting for this to land, it will make user adoption and training so much easier. Now we just need them to rename Shared Docs "Files" or vice versa and the whole Sharepoint/Teams explanation will be so much clearer
