The new Chatty kid on the block.
Airchat is a new social media app where you can record voice notes, and publish them.
A bit like WhatsApp voice notes, but blended with Twitter/X. Or Twitter/X blended with Clubhouse ( the app that blew up, then bombed, over lockdown).
I've joined Airchat and posted a few voice notes, mostly on random things for today:
There's a feature on there called 'Channels' but when I went there, there was nothong. And no way to create a 'Channel'.
Though Channels do seem like the next logical step. A way to organise all the chat.
Will this become a good channel? I like it on the first try. It feels natural. More natural than typing. Or Youtube. Or Instagram. But maybe that's because it is NEW.
The early days of all platforms are for the early adopters. Where things are lax, free, and open. Then the influencers come, and everyone has to up their game, and the playground becomes more like a corporate rat race, within an app. I digress.
Smart cookies might need to think about what then chat about, and how. I did note I waffled a bit. So must improve that part.
I'm very curious to see if it takes off.
Let's see....
