Is new ChatGPT just BingChat?

If you are using ChatGPT you are two iterations behind. Yes, that’s right. ChatGPT is the same technology that powers Bing Chat, but older.

Microsoft got a crazy good deal for us and ChatGPT is getting around to giving it, ONLY to the guys who pay that $20 membership.

Hot news is, today ChatGPT launched Dall-E3 and they integrated it with ChatGPT. So if you are paying $20 for ChatGPT plus you can put a prompt in chat and draw a graphic.

Umm… News: Bing Chat has done this for over a month now, and it’s free!

Yes, you can draw all the free graphics you want using AI in BingChat. What’s more, Bing’s AI is also based on GPT-4. So you get access to GPT-4 for free!

And… Bing’s AI is connected to search. It can get you realtime information and results.

So why are you paying for that $20 membership still?

ChatGPT is slowing down. MidJourney and Stability AI have been a better AI for graphics for a while. Then Ideogram really blew it out of the park.

Dall-E is nowhere close to that.

But, if you are already paying $20 for ChatGPT plus, then this is a great new add-on that you can use. Create images inside of ChatGPT!

By the way, I’ve been using GPT-4 to create social posts from my articles and emails, and that has been working very well. If you give ChatGPT the right prompt, it can create some high quality content.

The trick is to not give up. Different content needs different input and if you don’t get it right with the first prompt, try to change instructions or change the order of your instructions.

I’ve done that and got fantastically better results the second time round.

ChatGPT might be slowing down, but we are not.
