New Charity Partner For 2020; 20 Ways To Celebrate 20+ Years Of Claire House In 2020!

We are delighted to announce our charity partner for 2020 as Claire House Children’s Hospice. Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life. By providing specialist nursing care and emotional support they help families smile again when life couldn’t get any tougher. Claire House is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offers a range of services that can support children and families in a number of ways based on the individual child and family’s needs. But more children are coming to Claire House than ever before, an 84% increase in six years – and they can no longer cope with demand. As a team with young children we can only imagine how invaluable this work is to the families they support, we therefore feel passionate about helping them in any way we can for them to be able to offer their services to everyone who needs it.

When Claire House Children’s Hospice opened in December 1998 they were only looking after 10 families. Now they support over 400 and therefore the support they get from the local community is imperative for them to be able to create wonderful memories to those children and young adults that need it. We decided to work with Claire House not only for the amazing work they do but we have a synergy in regard to their values; Passion, Integrity and Excellence. It’s not a coincidence that the charity has their Butterfly Suite and our logo is of a butterfly with our vision also being to make a difference to people’s lives.

That’s why we have pledged to support them through “20 ways to celebrate 20+ years of Claire House in 2020” whereby we will work with Josh and the team at Claire House in order to aim to raise ￡8278 which would pay for a whole day of services at the hospice. We will aim to work with them on fundraising, volunteering and offering our specialist services whenever required in order to make a real difference to such an amazing charity.

We are starting off with number 1, donating ￡20 of every placement we make in 2020 to Claire House. We will continue to share all the work we do with them throughout the year and are excited and honoured to be able to work with a charity that is so close to our hearts.
