New chapter, who dis?

New chapter, who dis?

After 23 years at the same agency, I recently found myself face-to-face with an unfamiliar feeling: change.

First, I have to give a shoutout to the people and creative experiences that have shaped me into the leader I am today. I’ve been lucky to work with the best and brightest—many of whom I now call dear friends. I’ve had the space to grow, the flexibility to keep learning, and the privilege of building a career in an industry I absolutely love.?

And sometimes the most unexpected events lead to the greatest opportunities.???

I felt all the feelings—uncertainty, excitement, a smidge of mourning, the thrill of new possibilities. And once I embraced the non-stop flurry of calls and "WTAF" texts, I was blown away by the love and encouragement I received from so many of you as I explored these uncharted waters in my career.?

Then, suddenly, lots of doors started opening. (Sorry, can’t help all the idioms.)

Of course, I wasn’t going to rush this decision. I’m someone who gives my whole heart to everything I do, so I wanted to make sure my next move checked all the right boxes. For me, that meant leaning on my core values—connection, creativity, optimism, kindness, enthusiasm—to develop a very clear vision.?

Here are the six criteria I used to evaluate each opportunity:

  1. I want to collaborate with people who inspire me alongside leaders I deeply respect.
  2. I want to keep satisfying my voracious creative appetite.
  3. I want to build something meaningful—a business I’m personally invested in.
  4. I want to make the best decision for my family at this stage of our lives.
  5. I want to feel aligned in both the purpose and values of the organization I call my next home.
  6. And finally, I sure as sh*t want to laugh every single day. Non-negotiable.

While many opportunities met these criteria, there was one that stood out.?

I’m thrilled to be joining a team of like-minded, powerhouse women who not only inspire me, but value the gifts I have to offer, believe in creating positive change, and, most importantly, CARE as much as I do.

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind, and I’m so ready to take a beat. Bring on the holidays, quality time with my favorite people, and a whole lot of gratitude as I gear up for what’s next!

2025 is going to be epic—stay tuned for an announcement soon :)
