A new chapter for Maze Theory...

Hello everyone, we want to share with you some exciting stuff happening now.?

You may have seen that Maze Theory has officially merged with Pluto Digital, following a fruitful partnership formed earlier this year.?

Our new parent company is called Emergent Entertainment PLC.

Maze Theory continues as a division of Emergent Entertainment, focused on delivering the best experiences in virtual reality (VR). We’ve been talking to more globally renowned TV shows and films, alongside the original content we’re making; and we’ll have more to tell you soon.

We’re also looking to further expand our offer to build augmented and mixed reality games, as new headsets come onto the market.?

Our commitment to making a huge impact in this space remains as strong as ever.?

So, what exactly is Emergent Entertainment??

This exciting new business venture is focused on harnessing new technology; forming a new company which benefits from combining the skills of Maze Theory and Pluto Digital to deliver XR and Web3 gaming, and Web3 token services.

For now, XR and Web3 games will remain separate, with no plans to combine the two.

We’re aware that Web3 gaming has yet to really break through. But we can make a massive impact in this space, by offering incredible AAA games and powerful storytelling that players will love, first and foremost. There’s a brilliant opportunity to do better here, and that’s what we intend to do.?

Our first game, Resurgence, is in development.?

Former Sony PlayStation leader @Simon Rutter joins as Chairman, and he’ll be heavily involved in the future direction of Emergent Entertainment and Maze Theory games. He’s a huge asset, a veteran star, and we’re thrilled to welcome him!?

Our devoted team comprises more than 60 people with extensive experience building AAA games, including: FIFA, NBA Online, The Sims, Need for Speed, Gran Turismo, Lord of the Rings, Horizon Zero Dawn, Sniper Elite, Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom, Doctor Who: Edge of Time, Blood and Truth, and PlayStation VR Worlds.

So, please hold us to account and expect brilliant games in VR and Web3, that will always put player experience above all else.
