A new chapter

During nearly five years, I was the managing director of the Governmental CERT of Luxembourg. I had the

opportunity to work with a great team. Which one, we used to evolve in a policy with a supportive framework.

Indeed, together we reached great milestones increasing the security of our constituents. I had the opportunity to play a role in many topics.

For instance, I contributed to growing up two national cybersecurity strategies. I cooperated to the creation and the implementation of the NIS directive. So, in this area I actively participated to the first nine CSIRT Network meetings. I was part of the national scrubbing center against DDOS attacks project and I supported it. On the one hand, I enhance the maturity of our CERT which one was proved by audits. On the other hand, I audited others entities. I established new mandates (National CERT and Military CERT), a pentest team, and tripled the team-size. Last but not least, I built strong relations with partners from the defense, diplomatic, regulatory and economic sectors in a national and an European way.

Moreover, I valued managing a dedicated team with a real cutting-edge expertise.

I learned a lot about people and interconnections; in fact, I used to deal with strong personalities and a really interesting team.

It was, also, a pleasure to work with my hierarchy and the political level. Many of my European friends were complaining regularly about the difficulties how they were facing when they were

presenting their ideas. In a first time, to convince the hierarchy then in a political level. But in my case, I always felt encouraged and I was greatly impressed by the professional involvement of each participant to understand complicated topics.

In the same breath, I will also lay down my function as National Liaison Officer of ENISA.

That is to say, I will work with ardor in my new function investing all my significant experience as a Deputy Director of the Ministry of Interior Security.
