New Chapter.

It is with mixed emotions, I share with you the below message from my CEO for the last three years. Gatesway Friends and Greg's leadership have brought much joy to my life. As of January 2, I'll be stepping back to a familiar role, closer to home. Looking forward to new relationships and renewing some old ones. I believe I can make a difference and bring all the tools working for a non-profit has taught me these last few years.

It is with a mix of gratitude and emotions that I am writing to inform you about a significant transition in our organizational journey. Our esteemed colleague, Joanna Jones, will be departing from Gatesway on December 31, 2024. After three remarkable years of dedicated service—during which she has served in multiple roles, starting as our ICF Administrator, and ultimately holding the position of Chief Development Officer—Joanna has made the thoughtful decision to pursue a new opportunity in her professional career.

During her tenure with us, Joanna has been instrumental in cultivating meaningful connections, particularly with Native American Tribes, and has consistently demonstrated an exceptional ability to build and strengthen community relationships. Her innovative spirit shone through in numerous initiatives, including creating heartwarming community support programs like birthday celebrations and the Giving Tree, and most notably, pioneering a groundbreaking fundraiser event in collaboration with local motorcycle clubs.

Joanna's leadership has been truly impactful to our organization's mission and growth. More than just a colleague, she has been a trusted friend and integral team member who consistently went above and beyond, making significant contributions that have helped shape Gatesway's success and community impact.

While we are sad to see her move on, we are equally excited about the new paths and opportunities that await her. We wish Joanna all the best in her future pursuits, knowing that her passion, creativity, and commitment will continue to inspire wherever her journey takes her.
