A New Chapter

A New Chapter

This has been and continues to be an unprecedented time globally, doesn't it? I was in conversation with colleagues this week from Lebanon and I continue to be humbled by their resilience in the face of near economic collapse of their financial systems as well as a loss of confidence in their government leaders. Context and perspective are needed at this time even in our own country as we experience a much-needed racial reckoning that is rightfully leading us toward a more equitable and inclusive future.

This particular moment is also bringing about a big change in my own life. After 15 years at Sundance Institute, the time has come for me to embrace my next professional chapter. It has been immense privilege to support artists as a champion for Sundance's mission as I depart the organization in August.

I am now pleased to share a new website that declares my work in new ways and invites you to join me in crafting a new era: www.christopherhibma.com.

While our futures are uncertain, I am hopeful that our next chapter will be filled with a collective intention for grace and meaning. I look forward to meeting you along the path and exploring how we may work together.
