I love Muhammad Ali......
His confidence, his giving attitude but overall his Never Die attitude. The more I learn about Ali the more I feel I need to line myself up with him and the way he approached life in general. His positivity is addictive and it breads through people and organisations.
Since joining Smarta just over a month ago, its been amazing. I’m so out of my comfort Zone I’m really loving it!!! There’s a lot to say about moving outside the comfort zone, who would have though 6 months ago I would be putting a hard hat on and a yellow top and walking a multi million pound project admiring and talking through Kitchens that we have installed. I walk with confidence as the product and the company are full of the right values. The people care and want to make a difference, which has allowed me to fit right in.
Ali says
'Don't count the days; make the days count'
Is so so true. So the big changes in my life over the past 6 months
5.15am Start
I’m up every day at 5.15am, WHY I hear you ask. I want to be successful and up at 5.15am gets me up and started before lots of people (Competition) which will give me the advantage I require to gain the advantage. So what routine have I got into...well here it is
5.15- Up out of bed- NO SNOOZE
Straight into 2 pints of water- then Personal Development with Mo Ali for 5 mins- Then 10 mins with Matthew McConaughey0- then 13 mins with Earl Nightingale.
5.45-6am Gym
7.30 am Tea and Breakfast
8am Into work Fresh and Cracking On
Weekends are all the same- these are a massive part to getting ahead as I see these really making a difference over time. As Darren Hardy talks about the Compound Effect, this is the best book that I have read and Im on that journey.
Ironman
I've entered the 2019 Ironman Wales for Charity. You reap what you give and I'm a firm believer in giving to people that need it more than yourself. Myself and a group of keen sportsman are doing the event for MIND Wales, with a target of raising £10,000. Ive put a target for a sub 11 hour time and started to train for this to happen.
I know I can do this!!! Let’s do it
Reflection
I reflect nightly and record how my day has turned out and what version of myself has turned up. These have both positive and negatives of how Ive reacted with people and how Ive handled situations. My main objective is to 'Be the BEST version' of myself I can be. Again, using a tool from Darren Hardy, this is has helped me to take 100 per cent accountability for everything. This way I'm the person that can change every situation. Its been massive for myself as I’m having less negatives daily than I do positives. This means I'm seeing a better version daily!!! Its been MASSIVE
These are just a few changes that I've seen the biggest changes in my life that I'm starting to real differences and really trying to make every day count!!!
The start has been Amazing so far.......Ive now got to move some Kitchens!! But really enjoying growing relationships. This is key to moving the business on...and I love meeting people, which fits me really well.
Here’s to the next 4 weeks!!!
