This week for our ‘Client in the Spotlight,’ we decided to feature all of our wonderful clients exhibiting with us at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Expo at the Three Counties Showground.

It was lovely to see Ross Bearman from Ross & Ross gifts, Fiona Lock from Mindful Craft Company, and Rhian Cafful from Veg Life.

As well as those exhibiting, we were thrilled to bump into lots of familiar faces who visited the expo.?

Here at RWC we always have the BEST ideas in the unlikeliest places! Emma often records her ideas as voice notes when she's out walking Poppy. Esther often gets inspired in the middle of the night and Eliza gets her ideas whilst driving!

We were thrilled to read this week that there's SCIENCE behind this! In this article from National Geographic, the author John Kounios is quoted as saying: There’s some research that suggests spending time in nature—which can evoke a sense of awe, as well as inducing relaxation—is conducive to mind-wandering because it allows “your attention to expand to fill the space,

What do you think about this? Where are you when creativity strikes?

Our focus for this month is about ways to avoid burnout as a business owner.?You can read our latest blog here:

Last week our challenge was for you to consider delegation.?

We asked you to consider outsourcing that one job in your business (you know the one that never quite manages to make it to the top of your to-do list!) If you didn’t have to think about it you know you would be able to focus on bringing in a sale or completing work for a client.

Having decided what you’d outsource and the level at which you’d like to delegate it, the next challenge is to find the perfect person or organisation to do it for you.

Delegation for the first time will seem scary, but practice outsourcing small tasks to begin with before building up to bigger projects. You may find that someone who specialises in for example bookkeeping, can complete a task in half the time it takes you because they are experts at what they do and will be focused on that one task for you, whereas you are juggling plates and multi-tasking.?

?Ask for recommendations from other business owners to find someone to help you and speak to someone that they are currently working with.?

Let us know how you got on with this week’s challenge!?

Good luck!?You can do this!

We’d love you to share your thoughts on beating burnout with us too, you can always book a cuppa and a catch up here.
