A new challenge

Today, I am proud and privileged to announce that I am taking on a new role in Sitecore, as Director of Digital Experience in the Corporate Marketing department.

The last 3 years (and a bit) in the SBOS team have been a great learning opportunity for me. I’ve learnt many specific skills, and more importantly, I’ve learnt that I can take on and master challenges that I had never previously considered. From delivering an optimisation workshop for 45 people in Mumbai, to moderating a panel at a major event with 24 hours notice, to managing nearly two dozen projects at once; I have learnt that if I want to do it, I can do it. Doing this was not a solo endeavour, and I’d like to express my thanks to the whole team, current and past, particularly Chris Stennett, Sean Rusinko, Megan Engard, Rebecca Mangan, and the broader team who have been so supportive - Jacqueline Baxter, Jonathan Corley, Kristian von Magius, Elan Bair and more.

The knowledge that I can master what I set my mind to is going to stand me in good stead as I move into the new role. As Director of the Digital Experience team at Sitecore, I’ll be responsible for developing and executing the strategy, priorities, and programs for our principle digital channel, Sitecore.com, and related web properties. We have a big challenge ahead of us as Sitecore expands its footprint both regionally and across solutions. I’ll be leading a highly skilled global team from Sydney, tasked with creating truly engaging DX for our customers and prospects, who are looking to us to help them deliver on the promise of a digitally-enabled customer experience.

We have an ambitious strategy sketched out, and I can’t wait to start bringing it to life. You’ll be able to see Sitecore “drink our own champagne”, and we are going to be public about how we do that. Keep watching to see what we do and how we do it.

In doing this, I’ll be collaborating closely with stakeholders internal and external. If you have ideas or suggestions for our site, I want to hear them. Our customers’ voice is so important.
