A new 50 mega-pixel camera from Canon arrived yesterday; the Canon 5Ds R. This speciality camera will allow me to get more pictures that can be printed huge. Huge pictures are increasingly important to my clients. I keep getting calls with people asking for files that can cover entire walls. We now have over 1,000 pictures that can be enlarged to over 20-feet wide. To see them click here.

I used the new camera today to get this picture at the Lotus Ponds here at the Prairie Garden Trust. The Lotus isn’t blooming yet but their big circular leaves have emerged from the swamp.

It's very exciting. Went to a Canon presentation last week, and it does some amazing things besides a huge capture. Picking up one tomorrow. It'll be fun to have a conversation about what we can do with them.
