New Broker to Broker Podcast Series: AIME Continues Advocacy for Independent Mortgage Brokers and Consumer Awareness.

The efforts we continue to put forth at AIME are always with the mortgage broker top of mind. But it’s important when advocating as an organization on behalf of the independent mortgage broker community, that it’s done from the ground level. This is where sharing our members’ stories and experiences is important to help cultivate best practice sharing and provide motivation within our community, as well as for those who are looking to make the transition from retail lending to wholesale. And it’s the collective narrative of these stories that will continue to prove why brokers are also the best choice for consumers. After all, brokers are better - for everyone. 

In this spirit, AIME has launched a new podcast series called Broker to Broker, with the objective to highlight the dynamic ways in which independent mortgage brokers are fundamentally changing the home buying industry. Hosted by JP Hussey, Owner of the Hussey Team, Mortgage Broker and AIME member, this series will feature conversations with new and experienced brokers from all different backgrounds and parts of the country. It’s been incredible to hear how open and honest these talks have been, a reminder of the blood, sweat and tears that these entrepreneurs continue to choose to devote in an industry as tough as mortgage lending. 

Listeners will hear from brokers who are just getting started after years in retail lending, as well as those who have endured as entrepreneurs during the ups and downs of the last 12-20 years. Guests will share a variety of professional and personal successes and challenges, battles they’ve faced and milestones they’ve celebrated. These stories are sure to resonate with so many of us, no matter where we are in our own journeys. 

Broker to Broker isn’t about the Association of Independent Mortgage Experts, it’s about the resilience of our members, their commitment to this community and their outlook on what lies ahead.

In a competitive landscape where online and corporate banking giants are actively working to remove the human touch from so many parts of the home buying process, our members are a shining example of the daily commitment that brokers across the country make to focus on their relationships, their ability to provide personalized service day and night and their expertise - all for the good of the consumer.
