Today marked and important milestone in Legeer Recruitment's growth. We are splitting our Microsoft Dynamics recruitment practice into it's own distinct brand, Dynamics Door. Strategically this has been in the works for years, but timing for the execution has never been better. There truly is no place like the right time.

Everyone loves a good origin story, at least that's what Hollywood seems to be banking on these days. Dynamics Door's name dates back to early on in my tech recruitment career when I was on the phone with a candidate for Dynamics CRM contract position in which the client gave me very little information to work with to market the role. I called up one of my most dependable independent contractors at the time and gave them a very honest rundown of what the client thought they needed. I admitted to my contractor off the bat that there isn't much to go off of, but they are willing to start speaking with potential candidates immediately. The response I got back was "Well Eric, I'm going to tell you something that my father told me. You have to open the door to see what's going on inside"

Attitude is everything. We live in a universe in which most circumstances we find ourselves in are beyond our control, and we can only react. But what we can control is our attitude towards life's ambiguities. I've always had an innate sense of curiosity, so when I heard the aforementioned quote delivered to me at the most appropriate moment I hung on to it. At that exact juncture I constructed a completely different paradigm of what recruitment is. It's not as much making connections, as it is opening doors for people. Armed to the teeth with this newly acquired knowledge, and an innate sense of curiosity, I set out on a path to open as many doors as I could. Dynamics Door is a nod to the door opening ethos engrained in our culture.

door to most people is a meaningless inanimate object that they come across in their everyday lives. To myself, and the rest of the Dynamics Door team, a door is a symbol that represents an obstacle in the way of getting you where you need to go. Every door you encounter in your day to day life is in fact more powerful than you give it credit for. Often times the most important doors need credentials or authentication to open.
