New Book In Progress

My new book, "Perfecting Practice", has been a joy to write so far. How do those who reach their fullest potential view the world and utilize their talent, time, and relationships hourly? That's the foundational theme. Beyond that, I'm writing a book that is a practical resource, a tool, that will help people build structure from a clarified vision of their unique goals. We really do have the power to reform (re-form) our habits. First though, we need to define our purpose, and eliminate the unnecessary and the noise. Michelangelo is one of many who inspires me: "If people knew how hard I worked to get my mastery, it wouldn't seem so wonderful at all", and "I saw the angle in the marble and carved it until I set it free." He also said, "Lord, grant me that I may always desire more than I can accomplish."
How do we improve our environment, choose our friendships and mentors, and progressively excel toward excellence from the inside out? My goal is to take the reader from anecdote and example to personal perfecting as a measurable lifelong process that's as wonderfully rewarding as it is rare.
