New Book - The Human’s Guide to Managing Change - Launching 6th October 2022.

It is almost impossible to think of a time when so much unexpected change was happening.?As a project and change manager, my role is to anticipate and plan for the vagaries of government, the economy and weather and industrial unrest. When it comes to keeping a project “on time and on budget” I, and my fellow project managers, are where the buck stops.

Project management is one of those professions that has sort of evolved into what it is now.?It started as a general management function but has now become more specialized.?A large number of people have stumbled into project and change management as something to do on the ‘side of their desk’ as part of their normal job.

This is one of the motivations I had to write my new book “The Human’s Guide to Managing Change”. I wanted to create a quick reference book for change managers to provide answers and solutions, no matter when challenges are thrown at them.

The book's purpose is to be an essential tool for change/project managers to provide real and pragmatic hints and tips for problems being encountered now as well as help anticipate and manage future problems. It is due to be published on 6th October 2022 and I am holding a virtual book launch on that day at 7 pm.
