With nearly three decades of leadership experience at Collette, Melissa has honed her expertise in strategy, team building, sustainability, and community impact. Her passion for empowering entrepreneurs to unlock their potential and drive meaningful social change makes her a dynamic addition to our board and mission.

Melissa’s Journey and Expertise

With 28 years of experience at Collette, Melissa has developed a deep understanding of strategic leadership, sustainability, and community engagement. She is committed to creating opportunities for growth and driving meaningful impact. These experiences have shaped her belief in the power of equipping others with the tools to succeed. Reflecting on her journey, she shares: “ I am excited about the future and the potential to mentor and guide emerging leaders, helping them realize their visions and create lasting, positive change in their communities. Together, we can make a significant difference, driving both social and economic progress.”

Melissa’s collaboration with SEG has already left a mark. Through a partnership with Collette, she mentored multiple SEG incubators, providing essential skills in sales, public speaking, and public relations. These efforts culminated in entrepreneurs gaining critical resources to launch their ventures and create real-world impact. As Melissa explains: “Seeing these entrepreneurs gain the tools and confidence to achieve their goals was deeply rewarding. It’s a testament to what’s possible when we invest in mentorship and skill-building. Experiences like this fuel my drive to empower social enterprises to thrive.”
