Exciting beginnings, you have a unique opportunity to learn, grow and make your mark. You can achieve anything you set your mind to. The aspect I have learnt - the most crucial 7C’s for a Candidate.

  1. Competencies: Referring to the skills, knowledge, and abilities that are required for a particular role they are looking for in candidates to ensure they find the right fit.
  2. Culture: A company's culture is the shared values, beliefs, and behaviors that shapes to ensure that potential candidates are a good fit for their culture to ensure they will be successful in the role and contribute positively to the team.
  3. Capacity: A candidate's ability to perform the tasks required for the role. This includes not just their technical skills, but also their ability to manage their workload, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively.
  4. Compensation: Attract and retain top talent. It's important for organizations to understand industry norms and ensure they are offering a package that is attractive to potential candidates.
  5. Career: To understand what their career path could look like within an organization, growth opportunities and provide resources for career development.
  6. Commitment: A candidate's commitment to an organization is critical to their long-term success. It's important for organizations to assess a candidate's level of commitment during the hiring process to ensure they will be invested in the role and the organization.
  7. Communication: Effective communication is critical throughout process. This includes clear job descriptions, timely follow-up with candidates, and transparent communication about the hiring process.
