New Beginnings

New Beginnings

As we close out 2022, it’s a perfect time to pause and reflect on where you’ve been, where you’re going and where you are now. Three keys to happiness are look within, be kind, and focus on gratitude.

  1. Look within.?If you look to others for fulfillment, you will never truly be fulfilled. Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.” —Lao Tzu
  2. Be kind.?A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. —Amelia Earhart
  3. Focus on gratitude.?Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. —Melody Beattie

The world of your highest intentions and wildest dreams awaits you, accessible from within your own heart. Every setback, every heartbreak, every failure is an invitation to grow your soul, to make new choices, to accept accountability for

  • Where you are
  • Who you are
  • What you’re experiencing.

“Be yourself” is the message from wise sages. “To thine own self be true” comes from Shakespeare’s Hamlet when Polonius, a counselor to the King, bids farewell to his son Laertes, who is leaving Denmark for France, offering advice and words of wisdom.

But what does it mean to accept and BE who you are if you want to be different; when you may not like all that you appear to be? That is the challenge. To accept and love who you are does NOT mean that you cannot change or morph into a more exalted version of yourself.

Be open to embrace the bits you struggle with, love them as best you can and let them go. Set yourself free. Dislodge the dysfunctional parts- regrettable mistakes and bad behaviors - that cling on. All they do is hold you back and keep you feeling unworthy.

No more excuses. Declare what you’ve learned and how you’ve changed. Then move forward in love. If you can’t see the lessons now, just say I am open to this situation being here as a catalyst to my growth even though it doesn’t seem like this at the time.

Take the time to go within to a place of peace and serenity. Create your inner sanctuary. Fill it with flowers, crystals, fountains, candles - anything that soothes you. Honor your sensitivity - it’s there to guide you toward your path and purpose, toward those who understand and respect your differences.

Heal wounds from the past - claim your power, reinvent yourself, fall in love with yourself over and over again.

I help people who struggle with imposter syndrome to embrace their inner cheerleader/coach, to gain confidence and authority, and live a more empowered life.

YOU belong in the world or you wouldn’t be here.

An Attitude of Gratitude is the Antidote We who lived in concentration camps remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms - to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances…… —Victor Frankl If the only prayer you say in your whole life is “thank you,” that would suffice.—Meister Eckhart Joy is prayer - Joy is strength - Joy is love - Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls. She gives most who gives with joy. –Mother Teresa Happy New Year! May your life be filled with blessings of gratitude, hope, abundance and love. xx, Marlu and Jelly
