New beginnings for 23D

If I’m totally honest, I feel some trepidation sitting here and starting this blog post. As 23D begins a new chapter, I feel more exposed personally than ever and I also feel a huge responsibility to my team. It's scary but it’s also very empowering, and here’s why….

It all comes down to alignment of values. My own, those of our expanding team, those of the business world and those of society. In my lifetime there has never been a more seismic shift in values than we’ve seen since the start of the pandemic. But get all these values aligned and you'll find your purpose. 

Society wants and needs change. To put it very simply, we need to start being way more altruistic but there is no point looking out for one another if we don’t have a healthy planet to live on. People. Planet. That’s what it comes down to.

We used to rely on government and policy to guide our morals and our (hopefully) prosperous future. But, while they are still very important, it’s becoming clear that big businesses are major players in the direction of our lives these days. Like it or not, we need the business world’s help in creating a better world, so how can we influence companies to become part of the solutions we need to devise and embrace? 

Every business has got a film inside them. We’ll help you find it, make it and show it.

At 23D, we want to inspire and help organisations to be more purposeful and we believe powerful film-making can play a big role in that journey. We’re becoming very passionate about this and are now dedicated to creating high-impact film for forward thinking and responsible companies.
