New AutoForm Corporate Image Video

A new AutoForm corporate image video was released recently. It was the first update since our last image video dating back to the release of AutoForm R4 in 2012. So it seemed like the right time to inform AutoForm prospects and customers of our new strategy and how AutoForm’s market positioning has changed in recent years.

During the conceptualization phase of the video, it quickly became clear that we wanted to have a new and concise company introduction, highlighting AutoForm’s strategic positioning, for unlimited public release.

The aim was for the video to have a high-level look and feel aligned with the larger and more strategic role AutoForm wants to play in the transformation plans of automotive customers.

So, in line with our marketing intent, the video was built around the following main messages:

  • AutoForm has been serving the automotive stamping process chain with custom-tailored, integrated software solutions for over 25 years and is the recognized world-leader in this business.
  • With the recent release of a totally new and groundbreaking solution for the integrated digitalization of the stamping AND the BiW process chains, AutoForm now offers a complete digitalization solution to support the Industry 4.0 and Digital Twin strategies of automotive companies.
  • The integrated capabilities of these AutoForm solutions bring tremendous opportunities for automotive OEM’s and suppliers to gain competitive advantages by significantly reducing their time-to-market and vehicle cost.
  • AutoForm serves the global eco system through local offices worldwide; and AutoForm customers are supported by local AutoForm specialists. As a consequence, AutoForm is aware of what is going on in the automotive business worldwide and AutoForm has a global overview of best automotive practices in the sheet metal process chain.

Regarding the video style, we wanted to create a fast-paced, engaging video of approx. 3 minutes running time – focussing on the following visual components:

  • Visual focus on entire car bodies in order to emphasize the BiW-aspect and the larger relevance of AutoForm for the automotive process chain as a consequence of the recent release of the AutoForm Assembly solution.
  • A look at the practical side of our customers business in press shop and BiW assembly to show that our software provides hands-on guidance to practical problems and that AutoForm is connected directly with part and BiW production issues.
  • To involve and show AutoForm staff to give AutoForm a human face and to emphasize the fact that software is created, sold and supported by real people with great regional, ethnic and gender diversity.
  • Work with professional individuals in front and behind the cameras – embedded in real-life production environments – to deliver the video’s messages in a professional and convincing manner.
  • To show-case some simulation aspects and visualize the connection of the virtual with the real world.

Our new company video is now available here in a total of 14 localized versions for a broad variety of use cases and to support locally organized and executed events. Our websites have been updated with subtitle versions in local language.
