New Algae Testing Service by Cultured Supply in Partnership with Industry Experts

Cultured Supply is excited to announce an algae testing service to make it simple and easy for product developers, farmers, and cultivators to assess the quality of their algae for food, cosmetic, and nutraceutical applications. The testing program is in partnership with Macro Oceans and we are working with Celignis Biomass Lab and 欧陆 as lab partners.

Standard lab testing services often fall short when it comes to seaweed and micro-algae because algae contains naturally occurring compounds with diverse bioactive and functional properties that vary by species, season, geography, growing environment, and storage conditions. It can feel like you need to be an expert on algae testing just to figure out which tests are needed to bring a product to market!?

All of this complexity takes time to navigate, making it harder to bring amazing algae-based products and hampering the growth of the industry.

But no longer. Our offering removes the complexity of the process by grouping the tests by use case: safety, nutrition, and bioactivity so a seaweed farmer or entrepreneur can quickly and easily understand their algae and get on with their work.
